We raise and sell Red worms and Euro nightcrawlers for composting and fishing. We also have worm food, Gusanito worm bins, castings, worm tea, worm books, composter, harvesters and a used fishing equipment
We have been doing this for five years and are striving every day to improve our worms and equipment. We improve our worms by testing differnt foods, conditions and temperate.
We count our worms by hand, which takes more labor but at least when you buy worms from us you can count and see how many you recieved. Other worm farmers sell by the pound. you cant tell how many you got with the beddibng and all. They say there are 600-800 red worms to the pound. Ive got some red worms that were 3/4" long and there should have been 1500 to that pound. We also ship our worms in the castings they were raised in. Not dry peat moss. Everybody knows worms like it damp. Our worms get a lot less shipping shock by shipping in the castings. The only reason for the dry peat moss is its lighter to ship. Once you get your worms they tell you add water right away.
Our worm tea iscollected by spraying of the worm bin. The worm urine as well as many other nutrients are combine and recycled. The end product is a liquid plant and soil enhancer that can be diluted to a 1 part Worm Tea to 50 parts of water or 1/3 cup of tea to 1 gallon of water. The water must be chlorine free. If you are in an area that has chlorine in the water. Take the water and set it in a container, outside and open for 24hours and the chlorine will dissipate and will be ready for use. For best results, spray in the afternoon to avoid UV rays from the sun, This will give the worm tea more time to work effectively.
